The Kerala Tourism division has sanctioned ₹2.2 crore for the Noottavan Para tourism mission in Puliyoor grama panchayat in Alappuzha.
Fisheries and Tradition Minister Saji Cherian stated the mission had acquired administrative sanction as a part of the continuing efforts to implement a heritage tourism circuit by integrating areas that mirrored the cultural and conventional legacy of the broader Chengannur area.
Amenities
The mission envisions the event of amenities comparable to a relaxation centre, rain shelters, security handrails, cantilever viewpoint, CCTV surveillance, bogs, and a ropeway, amongst different amenities.
Mr. Cherian stated that after the mission grew to become a actuality, it will be potential to combine it with different tourism initiatives comparable to Pandavanpara, Ala Poomalachal, and Kuthiravattam Chira aqua tourism.
He stated that the mission can be applied after taking into consideration the technical recommendation of the Kerala Journey Tourism Promotion Society.
